Hello! I was going to make this website as a bit of nostalgia bait for myself to look back on and pine for THE GOOD DAYS. However, upon reflection it's not what I would like to do. I believe the internet still has a place for the aesthetics and designs of THE GOOD DAYS and rather than sit in the past, perhaps it's more productive to bring things into the present and the future with us.
Lately I have been really enjoying the frutiger aero aesthetic and I think the message behind it is a really positive one. The aesthetic being a bridge from the natural world to the world of the internet, marrying both to create some very nice utopian, clean and bright visuals. A commonly used phrase "promised future" - one that is perhaps looked back on in sorrow of what we have been "robbed" of, and sure, the internet these days primarily consists of bots and corporations taking your time, money and personal information but the internet has always been the most special when it was about small communities from across the globe sharing a common interest. We can keep that going ourselves with sites like neocities. Technology is at its best when it is benefitting the world around us, so the aesthetic is more than just that, it's an ethos.
